Intelligent Electrical SLD Preparation & Electrical Manual Creation

This is a unique offering from SASPPL & involves detailed data collection of the distribution inclusive of cables, switch gears, relay’s & data recording using PQ Analysers by team of experienced Engineers. The collected data is then entered in Etap to Electrical generate a live electrical SLD of the facility.
Documentation with precise Electrical characteristics is available for user teams & complies to EHS requirements. The live SLD can be updated as well as proposed changes can be simulated to see effects & for designing best combination. A reference Electrical Manual can be created as a reference document for EHS compliance.

ETAP Based Load Flow Study & Distribution Loss Assessment

The offering requires collecting Electrical infrastructure details and Electrical data collection using Power Quality Analysers by team of experienced Engineers. The collected data is then simulated in ETAP for conducting validation & load flow study. This service provides exact quantum of Loss with load & branch losses. Component wise loss can be identified viz. X’mer/ Cables. Solutions pertaining to correction & loss reduction can be designed & implemented to reduce losses

ETAP Based Short Circuit Analysis

The offering involves visit of Electrical Expert and data collection from site on various load conditions of the facility. The collected data is then used to conduct Load flow study for various load conditions & then short circuit Analysis is conducted to generate report as per load.

Reality check of existing short circuit protection system. Short circuit & Fault Current ratings at HT, LT, PCC & MCC levels are calculated by the system precisely.Short circuit protection can be redesigned as per findings. Enhancement of facility uptime by ensuring fault is isolated by the nearest protection.

ETAP Based Relay Coordination Study

The offering involves visit of Electrical Expert and collection of switch gear & actual relay settings and electrical data using Analysers from site on various load conditions. The collected data of switchgear & protection relay settings is the facility is fed to conduct Load flow study followed by short circuit analysis & Protection Relay coordination study.

ETAP Based Electrical Design Validation for Green field projects

The study involves validation of a prepared design through ETAP software. Usually designers are not motivated to reduce overall project cost and mostly design based on assumptions provided by the users. The selection of component is based on the availability & features suggested by manufacturers rather than validation & sizing.
Through this service the design is validated for various load simulations & we are able to optimize the component sizes to enhance Electrical Safety of the design. This service can reduce Electrical infrastructure costs in a project by 20% – 30%.
