Role & responsibilities
- Getting database of targeted segment industries from market & resources available
- Cold calling & lead generation for Intelligent Electrical documentation and Audit Service Business
- Increasing digital presence by registering on sites like India Mart, procurement portals & tracking requirements
- Lead follow up & internal follow up with concerned Sales Engineer
- Understanding client requirements and sharing with sales team
- Sharing necessary reports/ presentations with clients
- Setting up meetings for introduction & technical discussions
- Follow up with clients till closure.
- Identifying Institutions where Seminars can be organized for Business promotion.
- Getting credentials from existing clients
- Taking feedback from clients who have used our service/ product.
- General & administrative responsibilities like travel arrangement for the team, undertaking vendor registrations, etc.
Preferred candidate profile:
Excellent written and verbal english communication skills is a must. Minimum 2 years of experience in a lead generation, business development role.
Education:
B.E. Electrical would be preferred / Graduate from any science stream with relevant experience.
Department: Marketing
Qualifications: Diploma/ BE Electrical preferred but Graduate from any stream with relevant experience too will be fine.
Role: On Field Business Development & Lead Generation
Territory: Pune, Mumbai, Aurangabad, Roha, Mahad, Nasik, Kolhapur & Goa
Job Purpose: The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new business opportunities within a defined territory. The role involves field visits to meet new clients & generate leads to add more opportunities. Building and maintaining relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs, and promoting our electrical auditing services. The objective is to drive revenue growth and expand the company's market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research, Data Sourcing & Lead Generation:
- Understand the territory where the BD is to be conducted & plan visits.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients by approaching various industry organizations, Industry databases, existing client references, consultants, Electrical contractors, EPC companies, Project Houses & more.
- Conducting Physical visits in Industrial areas & identified databases & conducting cold calls to provide introduction of the company & creating awareness about offerings.
- Maintain collected database in our CRM & update the information regularly.
- Analyze customer needs and develop strategies to position the company effectively.
- Generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, emails, and networking.
- Collaborate with other teams to create targeted lead generation campaigns.

- Conduct effective use of marketing material available to the company while making introductory calls.
- Explain Service offerings & broachers during cold calls & client visits.
- Deliver the presentations to prospective clients on their premises.
- Clearly articulate the value proposition of our services.
- Provide client names as references to the visiting company.
Client Meetings:
- Define clear client requirements to sales team before setting meetings.
- Setting up meetings of Sales team with clients & generated leads.
- Accompany the Sales team to such meetings.
- Generate definitive requirements from clients.
- Understand client requirements and keep follow-up with them till actual requirements are not generated.
- Create Lead & opportunity in CRM & then handover the case to sales team.
